Ingredients
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled
- 5 garlic cloves
- 2 Thai chiles
- 1 tbsp neutral oil
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tsp fish sauce
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 packed cup Thai basil leaves
Instructions
- Pound garlic and chiles into a rough paste.
- Heat a wok until very hot, add oil and the garlic-chile paste, and fry for 20 seconds.
- Add shrimp and toss until nearly cooked.
- Add oyster sauce, fish sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and water. Toss in basil and remove from heat.
