Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb baby potatoes
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp rice syrup or honey
- 1 tbsp neutral oil
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 scallion, sliced
Instructions
- Halve larger potatoes and rinse away excess starch.
- Brown potatoes in oil for 5 minutes.
- Add soy sauce, sugar, and water; cover and simmer until tender.
- Uncover, add rice syrup, and reduce to a shiny glaze. Finish with sesame oil, seeds, and scallion.
