Ingredients
- 6 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp warm water
- 1 1/3 cups bread flour
- 2 tbsp neutral oil
Instructions
- Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment and heat oven to 320°F.
- Beat eggs and sugar over warm water until very thick and pale.
- Mix honey with warm water and oil; fold into eggs, then sift and fold in flour.
- Bake 45 to 50 minutes. Wrap while barely warm and rest overnight before slicing.
