Ingredients
- 2 cans chickpeas, drained
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 tomatoes, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 2 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp Kashmiri chile powder
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Heat oil and bloom cumin seeds for 30 seconds.
- Cook onion until golden, then add garlic and ginger for 1 minute.
- Add tomatoes and spices; cook until thick and glossy.
- Add chickpeas and water, simmer 20 minutes, and lightly crush some chickpeas to thicken.
